Tiffany Snow Huisman
After conquering her apprehensions about competing in a sport that requires you to wear a skirt,
Tiffany began her career her freshman year at San Pasqual High School located in Southern California.
While at San Pasqual she was a part of a successful field hockey program winning 2 CIF championships,
named a 2 time All-American, represented California at the National Futures Tournament all four years,
competed 2 years in the Junior Olympics, and began her international playing career when she was selected to represent the USA U16 National Team competing in England, Holland and Germany. She quickly came to love the sport and realized she wanted to take it as far as she could. As a 3-Sport high school athlete Tiffany was named 1999’s San Diego County’s Female Athlete of the Year (Field Hockey, Soccer & Softball).
Tiffany accepted a field hockey scholarship to Old Dominion University in Norfolk, VA where she received her Bachelor of Science degree in Health and Physical Education. While at ODU she was a part of another extremely successful field hockey program; winning the 2000 NCAA Division I National Championships, 2-time All-American, and was the recipient of the 2002 Field Hockey Honda Award (NCAA Field Hockey Player of the Year).
Following her college playing career Tiffany accepted a position as an Assistant Field Hockey Coach at Boston University. Coaching at BU from 2003-2007 Tiffany assisted with many aspects of the program ranging from coaching goal keepers, individual training sessions and recruiting.
Tiffany competed with the USA National Field Hockey Team from 2003-2009. While on the National Team she earned 114 international caps, competed in the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing, China, was selected to the 2007 & 2009 Pan Am Elite Teams, Leading Goal Scorer award at the Olympic Qualification Tournament in Kazan, Russia, competed in the 2007 Pan American Games in Rio de Janeiro and competed in the 2006 World Cup in Madrid, Spain.
Field hockey has given Tiffany many opportunities in life and now she is enthusiastic about sharing her knowledge and passion.
